California By Train

I have spent the greater part of my adult life living in California. It is a state I fell in love with. I fell in love with not just the Los Angeles or San Francisco that most people know, or with the endless beaches. I am head over heels with these well known locations in California, but I am also captivated by the Sierras, deserts, redwoods, rivers, lakes, forests, and many other destinations in the vast State of California.

I have done a lot of reading about the history of California, getting to know my former State well. I've developed a better understanding of the indigenous realities, the migrant agricultural workers, and the origins of the tech industry in Palo Alto. I don't see California through the lens I used to. The beauty is still there, but I see things in a different light now that I have more experience.
